What We Believe

We believe all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2Ti 3:16).

In Acts 20:20-27 Paul said, “I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you… I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God”, and so we are what one might call a full-gospel or pentecostal Bible study program.

We believe…

The Bible is the unique Word of God, and it accurately reveals God’s nature and character, his works, his plans, and his will. It is the final authority for all Christian life.

The Bible teaches that God created the heavens and the earth.

The Bible teaches that there is one God who is a Trinity, consisting of 3 unique persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

The Bible teaches that God made each human being in His image, and He desires a loving relationship with every person.

The Bible teaches that all people separate themselves from God by choosing to sin. All people have turned from God and His good will, choosing instead to yield to selfishness, the example of Adam, and the lies of Satan (God’s enemy).

The Bible teaches that God desires all people to be reconciled and redeemed to Him. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, He has provided salvation as a free gift to all people to be received by faith and repentance.

The Bible teaches that God requires and empowers every believer to persevere in faith and obedience. He calls us to daily overcome temptation and sin as we eagerly await his return.

The Bible teaches that Jesus commanded all believers to be filled, baptized, and immersed with the Holy Spirit. According to the Bible, the initial evidence of Holy Spirit baptism is to speak in an unknown tongue.

The Bible teaches that all the gifts of the Holy Spirit are still operating in the church today, in accordance with his will.

The Bible teaches that God provides healing and provision for all his people.

The Bible teaches that Christ is coming back to judge the living and the dead.
